The Little Big Project Dignity Framework

At The Little Big Project, we believe that dignity is the foundation of sustainable change. Our Dignity Framework is a set of guiding principles that ensure every project, partnership, and service prioritizes equity, respect, and empowerment. This framework helps nonprofits, CDFIs (Community Development Financial Institutions), and mission-driven organizations create inclusive environments where everyone’s voice is heard and dignity is upheld. We work closely with nonprofit organizations and CDFIs to incorporate dignity into their operations, helping them build more effective, inclusive strategies for community and economic development. By adopting the Dignity Framework, organizations can foster stronger relationships with the communities they serve, ensuring long-term success and impact.

The Dignity Framework Toolkit & Professional Development Training

We are excited to announce the release of the Dignity Framework Toolkit in January 2025. This comprehensive toolkit is designed to help nonprofits, CDFIs, and other mission-driven organizations implement dignity-centered practices into their daily operations. The toolkit will offer practical tools, templates, and strategies for building inclusive community development models and ensuring racial equity. In addition, we will offer a professional development training starting in January 2025 to equip nonprofit and CDFI leaders with the knowledge and skills to apply the Dignity Framework effectively. This training will include real-world case studies, actionable insights, and hands-on tools for fostering dignity-centered approaches to social impact.
